November 30, 2014: Role Play!!!

As many of you (if not all of you) know, I am an avid role player. Role playing, for those who don't know, is kind of like writing a story in a group. I used to role play all of the time with Madi, but she went off to Basic (damn her and her patriotism, xD, no really I'm proud as can be to be friends with her) and so I have had a serious lack of role play activity. Yesterday I decided it was time to browse online.
Unlike my concerns, when I googled 'role play online' it wasn't just a bunch of sex sites. I found a website list of the 'Best Role Play Sites on the Net' and after checking them out I found that Iwaku (here) is my favorite. It really is great, and I'm super excited. I'm already working on a couple role plays and can't wait to see everything progress.
It works out because I've had a recent concern about my life in general as well as my future life with Bradley. For starters, I had stopped writing. In fact, I wasn't doing much of anything to entertain myself (with the exception of this blog). It was mostly hanging out with Bradley. Don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with Bradley but it seems to me that especially since we're planning on living together that we need to learn how to be together and get stuff done. Stuff like chores, homework, and something other than watching TV.
Now that Bradley has new games and I have this, I really think we stand a chance at not killing each other once we live together.
And I have no desire to be dead or have Bradley dead so that's pretty awesome.

November 26, 2014: As the Year Comes To A Close

It's only November, so I'm not going to write on and on about the end of the year, summarizing 2014. No, I'm going to put a goal in words.
This isn't going to be my New Year resolution because (a) I'm kind of meh on that entire concept. (B) though, is that I am not going to bail on this, like I'm pretty sure I have done with all of my old resolutions (does it count as bailing if you just forget?).
For as long as I can remember I have sang. I'm talking even pre-Hannah Montana days I was singing. I sing when I drive, which is a lot. I sing when I work, which is also a lot. The thing is, I'm actually really good. Look, I know, arrogance is not a pretty color, but to be quite frank it's true. I don't have any insane idea that I'm going to be famous. That's just not going to happen, when I was five and my parents didn't ship me off to Hollywood for a life of makeup and botox that ship sailed. I'm not sad about that though, don't get the wrong impression. Right now, I want to keep music as a part of my life. Maybe posting on YouTube, maybe not. As time passed, for a short period of time I lost that and then was when I realized how important that part of me was.
I'm not going to forget that again.

November 5, 2014: Lordy Lordy

Hey all, how's it going? Be sure to let me know in the comments, :). As far as me my day is going okay but it's getting better, so all's well that ends well. I've got an ortho appointment today, which is good because I've supposedly only got one or two more of those before I get my braces off. I can't wait to brush my teeth properly again!  The fact that they're gonna remove all four of my almost rooted wisdom teeth as soon as they can after the braces are removed dampens the excitement, but I'm doing okay at making sure those are two separate things in my head. If I get x-ray's today at ortho I'll put a picture up here, maybe you guys have some words of encouragement. My co-workers are all like "Oh, I was only out 24 hours." In contrast, my dad said he was out two months, and my aunt out the one. I can't miss a month of work so let's all hope I'm off the pain meds quickly so I can drive and therefore work.
We'll see though won't we. Ortho and registration, that's my plans for the day.

October 17, 2014: ZOOOOOOOM!

This morning I actually took my meds guys. I know, it's pretty impressive. It's been like 2 days since I took my heart meds, before I took them this morning, so I am feeling pretty fantastic. This morning I was really hyper, it was awesome. My brain was zooming, I hadn't been that fast in a while. It was enjoyable. Other than a dull pressure in my chest and burning eyes, I feel great and I am shamelessly enjoying my health, I am doing great at work, and today is jean day so I have jeans, a t shirt, a jacket, and my Doc's. I feel so comfortable dressed like this. This is worry free wear. It's also Friday, and I don't care how much one loves their job, any amount of days off is exciting. I'm hoping Bradley will stay over tonight, because when he stays over during the week he has to leave early in the morning and it takes away the best part of sleepovers with the boyfriend: waking up with him.
I think I am going to add a writing page guys, where I post the stories I write. They don't always get finished, and they're not always good, but I think publishing them will be fun. Besides, Google keeps urging me to add pages to my blog anyway, I was thinking about doing Wix before I came back to Blogspot, but this is easier. It's on a platform that I use all day anyway, and it's GUI is half a million times better. Besides, Wix isn't really made for blogs anyway. If you're making a website like that you're putting so much more into the design than in a blog. For me, I want to write, I want to publish, I don't want to spend 20 hours getting the website ready. Now, obviously that is a distraction, but you get the point.
You ever notice how the hardened criminals, child porn cases, rape, criminal trespassing for adults, etc. always get delayed to never? Smaller stuff, *cough* hitting a firetruck with no injuries and minimal damage is super quickly covered. It's just weird, that's all.

October 15, 2014: Welcome Back, FIRETRUCK!

Hello all! I'm back! I'm 18! I'm out of high school! Gosh so much has changed, I went though my old posts, so much is obvious now. Like my failure of a romance with Corbett, he couldn't remember my name and I didn't like him hugging me. It's okay now, because I am older and wiser now. Totally. It's been two years and a lot has changed. For starters I'm moved out and in college, fun. I drive now, which I didn't before, for good reasons if you consider that I hit a fire truck, but more on that later. I'm also dating my fabulous boyfriend (a year and over a half long relationship, thanks for asking!), Bradley. Madster is in the army now, she's actually at basic right now. yeah, she's just as awesome. Del (now known as Shaniqua) is at GSU, so you know, yay, college. xD I'm working full time now at a company called Nextstar and loving it.
Let's get back to the firetruck though, I know that's what you wanna hear about. I was driving home from work, which was particularly exciting on this day because a local mall was giving away free stuff and I was really looking forward to going to that with Bradley. On this wonderful Thursday night I was turning right and checked to make sure that thee wasn't a car. After a brief glance I saw another car turn left onto the road I was turning off of. Surely this meant I was good. So I turned. I wasn't good, a loud honk and a shocked bump later, I had hit a firetruck. No worries, they weren't on the way to a fire or anything, they were greatly amused by the situation. As amusing as the tale is, it was also the sad day my car was ruined. With a messed up hood, bumper, side cover, drivers side light, and frame, it was time to retire my first car. I got a new car that weekend, because work. It's a nice car, a pretty red Aveo (2011). This car's radio even works without a good, solid kick.

September 17, 2012: FIRST PLACE

SO I went to a debate tourny this weekend, but before I explain how I did (though the title of this post is kind of a giveaway) I need to explain when I did it. The tourny was this last Saturday, the Friday before (before I had done my debate cases) I went to the fair with Del and Ian until 11 at night, then drove them home, and got home at like 12:30. I finally got to work around 1 am, started and finished my cases, went to bed around 3 am and woke up at 5:20, 20 minuets (my breakfast time) late. We got out of the house at 6 (the planned time) , with 30 minuets extra, I thought, as the trip was going to take 1 hour. However, in actuality it took around 2 hours, so I got there late. But, it was okay, the rounds hadn't started. However, there was no wi-fi and my offline google docs had not updated my aff, so it was not even half done, thankfully, after around 30 minuets of randomness, I got it. Keep in mind that through all of this, even an extreme lack of food until the 3rd round, I GOT FIRST PLACE!
